Centre For High School Business Enterprise (CHSBE) seeks to foster entrepreneurship education in high schools. As such, it runs a novel programme called High School Business Enterprise Programme (HSBEP). Through HSBEP, we coach high school students (Forms 3-6) foundation knowledge about entrepreneurship. Further, we mentor high school students (Forms 3-6) to start micro projects. In addition, HSBEP grooms high school students (Forms 3-6) into leadership as well as cocahing and mentoring them in community development. A notable feature of the community development training is how we coach Forms 3-6 to identify real life challenges in their communities and fundraise to execute solutions to address such community problems. Finally, HSBEP also strengthens the entrepreneurship capacity of high schools by running training workshops for their teachers as well as providing entrepreneurship advisory services to the high school, enabling them to start new ventures owned and managed by the high school leading even to high school spin offs.
